I've been offered an extension on my current internship for anywhere up to six weeks. This makes me pretty pleased, as I like the work, it pays incredibly, and they're really happy for me to be there working on my project. I think I figured out what was bothering me about Memoirs of a Geisha: the movie rarely showed how the characters saw the world. It felt like they were detached from it, but it's a story that tries to depict an era and culture.
